Make your dreams come true

Week of January 13, 2019

What’s Happening: We were pretty busy last week, either seeing clients in the office or meeting other women entrepreneurs. Laura and I were able to attend a monthly meeting of BOSSY. It was an amazing experience! The meeting was hosted by Megan Resig, LCAT, MT-BC and Noa Ferguson, MS, MT-BC, co-founders of Spectrum Creative Arts. Check them out if you or someone you know wants to explore the arts.

Fun Holidays this Week:

January 13: Make Your Dream Come True Day - On this day do something, no matter how small, to move in the direction of achieving your dreams.

January 19: National Popcorn Day - Strangely, National Popcorn Day is in January, yet National Popcorn Month is in October. On National Popcorn Day, we suggest you pop up some fresh popcorn, kick back and enjoy!

Hydration Recipe

Keeping hydrated is an important part of staying healthy. Water promotes cardiovascular health, keeps your body cool, helps muscles and joints work better and keeps skin supple. Here is this week’s hydration recipe:

Rosemary Grapefruit Water

1/4 red or pink grapefruit, cut into thin slices

1 large sprig fresh rosemary

Sparkling or regular water

Wash and slice ¼ grapefruit.

Wash rosemary

Fill a pitcher with water. Add grapefruit and rosemary.

Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.

DIY Hand Massage

In between massage appointments use these simple tips to give yourself a simple & easy hand massage! Perfect for after long days of typing on the keyboard!

1. Flex your wrist up and down and turn it from side to side. Rotate it several times in both directions.

2. To massage your palm, support the back of your hand with your fingers and make small rotary motions with your thumb pad over one spot at a time.

3. Massage the mound at the base of the thumb.

4. Repeat
